Katherine Frazer is a digital product designer at Apple, interested in exploring the implications of technology as a means of self-expression and identification. Her previous work focused on how marginalized groups have used technology to empower themselves; exhibiting a book documenting the Tumblr eating disorder community, and working as a researcher on a social therapy robot for children with developmental disabilities. She has shown work in galleries in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, been featured on NewHive, and has received award recognition from AIGA for her hand-bound book, “Seized”. She recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a double major in Communication Design and Human-Computer Interaction.
