Mirabelle Jones is a creative technologist, writer and interdisciplinary artist from Oakland currently living in Copenhagen. Recently, she served as the Senior Designer / Developer for Meow Wolf‘s interactive technology team with a specialization in interactive and immersive storytelling using sensors, responsive lighting and sound, 3D modeling / 3D printed sculpture, augmented and mixed reality, and computer vision.
Her works have been acquired by the ONE National Gay & Lesbian Archives, the Center on Contemporary Art, UC Berkeley, the School of the Art Institute in Chicago, Syracuse University, UC Berkeley, and more.
She have held residencies at Women’s Studio Workshop, KALA Arts Institute, Codame, Arts Everywhere and Unit One.
Her works have been exhibited at museums and galleries around the world including most recently the Museum Meermanno, The Center for Performance Research and the Finnish National Opera and Ballet.
Her performances and visual works have been heralded by the Huffington Post, ArtNet, Bustle, ATTN, Refinery29, Inquisitr, Mic., Sleek Magazine, Feminist Magazine, Google and Yahoo News, and elsewhere.
