Sukanya Aneja is an engineer and artist from India currently based in New York. She is interested in using code as a tool for creative expression and as a craft in itself. Her work explores the emergent quality of rule-based systems, the complex spaces between humans and computers, and technical tools and infrastructure that are often taken for granted. She currently works as a software engineer at the New York Times R&D, and is a graduate of the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at NYU. She's an alumnus of SFPC and the Recurse Center, and her work has been exhibited at Radical Networks, NYC Media Lab Summit, Cinekid Festival, and NeurIPS.
