“Circuit Dancers” was inspired by the dual cultures of dance and technology. The original piece consisted of a grid made up of 6 interactive LED illuminated wooden boxes. Each box has a steel face plate which was CNC plasma cut with a silhouette of an individual dancer.
Within each silhouette is a schematic of a circuit board. The audience can change the color and speed of the LED lights in each individual box. The installation was designed and shown the first time for the “Friends and Family 2012 electronic music festival.
