Windows is an installation that is meant to highlight the convergence of the digital and physical realities we are moving towards. Although the phenomenon of digital reality is currently disparate from physical reality, what will happen as the lines become indistinguishable? The computer is a new kind of window, one that does not limit our attentional proximity to our immediate physical location. Windows speaks on the relationship we have with our computers and the rest of the world—not merely on the access it provides us on a daily basis, but as a symbol for our relation to its information as well as its context.
