CODAME Featured Artist: Matt Langlois, aka The Welcome Matt, is a Bay Area-via-New England folk/indie-pop musician who collaborates, tours and composes in San Francisco. He has been featured on KFOG’s popular Local Scene CD, teamed up with renowned modern dance choreographer Christine Cali, and recently signed a publishing deal with Wixen Publishing. In 2011, he co-wrote a top-40 European hit “San Francisco,” by eurodance group Cascada. In 2013, Langlois recorded and released a video for his cover of David Bowie’s ‘DJ’, collaborated with Cali on another three-day production, ‘L.O.A.D.E.D.’
Langlois is currently a member of the multimedia collective, Kinetech, and released his self-produced albums, “POP JUNK FLUFF and HYPE,” earlier this year.
